We attend this Festival every year, it’s a lovely mix of music, art, crafts, children’s fun and community spirit. It’s theme is Bread and the fact that every culture has it’s own kind .
It was time that our stall was given a bit of a make over and our member, Chris, kindly agreed to think up some eye catching new ideas. She came up with the idea of Gingerbread (people) and made lots of biscuits and people all decorated with different skills that our members offer.. “What kind of Gingerbread are you?”
It worked really well, particularly with small people. We made them take a leaflet to their parents in return for a biscuit and we signed a few people up on the spot! Chris also made gingerbread bunting and people to decorate the stall. Thankyou, it really made a difference.
