Every year we hold the Partnership Council’s “Big Ten Awards” to celebrate the brilliant contribution volunteers make to our community. There are 10 categories, hence the name, one of them being “Skills Exchange of the Year Award”. This is an opportunity for our members to nominate individuals who they feel have gone the extra mile. The winner of this category this year was Rob Jessop. He was nominated by Taran Leader who had this to say about him:
Without Rob from the Skills Exchange, I would never have been able to sort out my house. He has helped me no end with DIY as well as fixing my webcam and microphone on my laptop. Without Rob’s help and support, I would not have been able to keep in voice contact with friends abroad. He has become a good friend to me and I greatly appreciate the support he has given me. Without people like Rob in our community, our communities would not be the same. Accumulating over 60 hours of community hours is amazing.
Rob has earned over 60 Time Credits since he joined the Skills Exchange and has also helped promote the Skills Exchange by appearing on both Kemet FM and BBC Radio Nottingham.
Thankyou Rob.
